In this three-part course, you'll learn the basics of two highly effective methods for personal transformation: Sophrology and the Silva Method. With audio and video guidance you'll gain an understanding of how they work and why, and then you'll be shown ways in which to use their key techniques to help achieve your goals in life.
And in the final session you'll experiment by combining both techniques!

"I’ve really enjoyed this course, and these two systems have their own individual approaches while complementing each other well in some aspects. Both Sophrology and the Silva method give us techniques of meditation and deep relaxation from which we can explore our emotional world and our subconscious selves. My favourite part, which is priceless in its value, is the technique for basking in happy memories, and this can be extended to looking at dreams of an idyllic future. Both bring these feelings into our present awareness through somatisation – which just gets better and better!
The entire techniques and philosophies may not be for everyone, but we can ‘take what we like and leave the rest’ and the Sophrology body scan tense and release techniques are very useful in other settings, and the Silva countdown technique for going deeper in consciousness can be applied almost universally in our meditations, Druidic light body exercises and general calming in states of anxiety. The two techniques can be adapted for both personal use and in helping others. This course is well worth engaging in, even if in the end you decide that the techniques may not be for you."
